Description

The Executive Daycare Director oversees two daycare locations within La Ronge. They are responsible for the successful leadership, overall management, administration, & business operations of the La Ronge Child Care Cooperative (LRCCC) to fulfill the organization's strategic direction as well as policies set by the Board of Directors.

This position will work closely with the Board of Directors, Bookkeeper, Ministry of Education, & Management teams at both locations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide oversight, direction & supervision of the Directors at both centres
- Support & lead administrative, financial, & business operations for the centres with a high level of accountability and communication
- Actively review, implement, & enforce policy
- Maintain accurate record keeping
- Work in conjunction with the management teams to handle all matters related to human resources
- Help to ensure staffing requirements are met, work to address staff shortages
- Program management including the planning, organizing, implementation, & evaluation of special projects

REQUIRED SKILLS
- Proven management and administrative skills, including financial, human resources, and program management
- Knowledge and experience related to the operation of a non-profit organization
- Strong strategic planning & organizational skills
- Superior verbal and written communication skills, as well as problem solving skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to build & maintain relationships with a diverse range of individuals and groups
- Excellent computer skills

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors degree in Commerce, Human Resources, Business Management, Business Administration, or other relevant field
- An equivalent combination of experience & education will be considered
- Early Childhood Education considered an asset
- Valid class 5 Driver's License
- Clear Vulnerable Sector Check
