Description

A&K Enns Trucking, a cargo and freight company specializing in fleet-only operations, is seeking a Parts Coordinator to join our team.

Your responsibilities will include:
1)Inventory Oversight: This position includes overseeing inventory management. Including shipping and receiving of parts and supplies; price checking, purchasing and stocking shelves. Keeping parts and supplies organized, accessible for mechanics and techs. Maintaining min-max levels for inventory control

2)Purchase Order Management: The Parts Coordinator generates purchase orders for necessary parts, collaborating with suppliers and vendors to maintain optimal inventory levels, negotiate pricing, and ensure timely delivery of supplies.

3)Administrative Support:  Assisting managers by running the shop efficiently with attention to costs and inventory. Regular audits will be conducted to prevent shortages and maintain compliance with safety standards. Determining profit and loss responsibility, quality control and maintenance process development

To be successful in this role, you'll need:
Experience in parts management, preferably in the trucking or automotive industry, 3+ years is an asset
Excellent computer skills, specifically in software programs with Inventory Management and Reporting
Strong organizational and record-keeping skills. Communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physical ability to lift and move parts as required
Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy; problem-solving skills to address issues quickly
