The Opportunity

We are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Manager of Plan Governance and Legislation to oversee our governance frameworks and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. This role is pivotal in managing executive secretarial services for governing bodies, developing modern governance policies, and facilitating effective board operations.

Ideal Candidate

Our successful candidate will be able to:

Oversee governance frameworks and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Develop and implement modern governance policies and procedures.

Prepare reports to senior management, board members, and regulatory authorities.

Plan and manage governing body meetings, ensuring professionalism and adherence to governance protocols.

Proactive engagement with appointing bodies for board member appointments.

Typically, the knowledge and abilities required for this position include:

Extensive experience with governance, regulatory compliance, and providing executive secretarial services to governing bodies.

Deep understanding of governance frameworks and best practices.

Proven success in strategically planning, managing and coordinating board meetings, including logistics and compliance.

Advanced skills in report preparation, and communication with diverse stakeholders.

Demonstrated ability to function in a highly deadline-driven environment with exceptional organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Experience in decision-making related to staffing, budgeting, and governance best practices.

Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to governance.
