Description

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative and clerical support to municipal staff.
- Assist with financial record-keeping, data entry, and document management.
- Respond to public inquiries and provide exceptional customer service.
- Maintain office files and ensure efficient workflow.

Qualifications & Skills:
- Grade 12 Education
- Completion of a related post-secondary course would be an asset
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in an office environment
- Eligible to be bonded
- Advanced knowledge of general office functions such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, etc.
- Knowledge and experience with specialized municipal office functions such as assessment, taxation, water and sewer utility, land use policy
- Experience using MuniSoft Programming would be an asset

Position Summary:
- To carry out the duties of an Administrative Assistant. The Administrative Assistant shall assist with all office, accounting and utility procedures as directed by the Chief Financial Officer. Full list of duties and responsibilities can be provided upon request of full job description.
