Description

We are seeking safety minded, skilled, enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our farming operation this spring, summer and fall. While certain skills listed below are an asset, we are willing to train the successful applicant. University student applications are welcomed.
General Duties:
-Ability to operate fork lifts, quads, lawn mower, tractors, rock picker, land roller, swather, combine.
-Prepare/maintain fields for leaf-cutter bee larva: tarp/untarp huts, handling leaf-cutter bee larva
-Prepare bee nests for fields (strap), prepare bee nests for incubation (unstrap), prepare bees for shipment
-Assist with maintaining yard side: cut lawn, housekeeping, weed maintenance.
-All other related duties: cleaning shops, cleaning vehicles, etc
Requirements:
-positive attitude, strong work ethic, trustworthy and reliable
-ability to work well with others and work independently
-willing/able to work longer hours during busy seasons
-Class 5 drivers license is an asset
