Key Responsibilities:
Performing preventative and corrective maintenance of welders and equipment
Troubleshooting equipment to diagnose deficiencies and determine repairs required
Repairing or replacing defective parts
Cleaning, lubricating, adjusting, and performing other maintenance work on welders and equipment
Using vendor resources, equipment manuals, and other resources to problem-solve and diagnose repairs
Educational Requirements:
Journeyman or Apprentice Electrician
Minimum 2 years experience with electronics
Minimum 2 years experience trouble shooting and repairing welding machines and equipment
Experience repairing Miller, Lincoln, Hobart, ESAB, and Hypertherm products
High School diploma or GED equivalent
Experience and Qualifications Required:
Ability to work varied hours, overtime and on call if needed
Must have valid drivers license and a drivers abstract, evidencing a clean driving record and a non-graduated drivers license.
Must be safety oriented
Experience operating forklifts with valid forklift certification
