Our head office in Regina is seeking to fill a Junior Financial Analyst position.
Primarily responsible for:
*Performing various account reconciliations including, but not limited to cash accounts, credit cards, prepaid expenses, wholesale contracts payable, inventory
*Assist with the preparation of documentation required for the external audit process
*Processing regular payments made to & from equipment financing companies.
*Reconcile GL accounts and prepare journal entries along with supporting documentation
*Preparing monthly and annual reports for equipment financing companies
*Supporting the annual budgeting process
*Other responsibilities can include reviewing accounts payable invoices, running banking reports, gross margin analysis, preparing additional reports to be provided to various members of the management and finance team.
Preference will be given to the individual that possesses:
*Strong knowledge of accounting principles acquired through a post-secondary accounting program (diploma and/or bachelors degree)
*Working toward or completion of CPA designation
*Higher level knowledge of the Microsoft Office, particularly in Excel
*Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
*Strong work ethic, positive attitude and the ability to work effectively as a member of a team
*The time management skills required to manage multiple tasks.
