McDougall Auctioneers is seeking a dedicated, versatile team member for a Secretarial Admin Assistant. To be successful in this role, you should have excellent organizational, communication, and computer skills. You should be able to work independently and as part of a team and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Job Description:
Review Consignment to Auction Agreements
Use various search engines to run lien searches on serialized assets, individuals and businesses
Compiling data in an organized manner to create an Appraisal for our customers.
Answer phone calls, take messages, and respond to inquiries.
Maintain and update files, databases, and records.
Handle confidential information with discretion.
Other administrative duties as required.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent. Post-secondary education preferred.
Excellent oral and written communication skills with ability to type 35 wpm.
General computer knowledge with a strong understanding of Microsoft programs.
A willingness to learn and the ability to do so in a professional manner.
Strong organizational, time management, ability to work under pressure, and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail as well as the ability to maintain confidentiality.
Salary and Benefits:
Full-time, Monday Friday (40 hours/week)
Hourly: $17 - $22 per hour
