Description

The La Ronge Medical Clinic requires the services of a Recalls & Data Management Clerk/Ultrasound Scheduling Support.
Recalls & Data Management Clerk:
Recall clients as requested by physicians; code incoming consult reports with a specialty and a diagnosis; adjust existing data to enhance the functionality and reporting of the Electronic Medical Records; input direct and extended family members into client charts to create a strong contact list for each client; track daily statistics within the EMR, such as no-shows, appointment types, etc.; ensure that all profile items in each chart are coded; build a comprehensive outline of allergies and immunization status in all charts; develop work standards for various reports from the EMR.
Ultrasound Scheduling Support:
Provide support to the Ultrasound Scheduling Coordinator; schedule local ultrasound appointments; notify clients about their appointment; coordinate appointments and transportation for clients who need to be seen in an urban centre for a specialized ultrasound or if La Ronge cannot accommodate.
The ideal candidate will possess a Grade 12 education. Experience in an administrative or a medical setting is preferred. Attention to accuracy and detail is required, along with the understanding of the importance of confidentiality and professionalism, advanced computer skills, the ability to learn quickly, work efficiently and adapt to new technology are essential. Excellent organization and communication skills are essential. Knowledge of medical terminology and the ability to speak Cree and/or Dene would be considered assets.
There is a requirement to provide a Criminal Record Check.
