*Must be a resident of the Athabasca Basin
Responsibilities include:
Comply with the Saskatchewan Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations, WHIMIS, company health and safety policies, practices, and procedures
Handling of chemicals and reagents
Operation of technical instruments and meters. Daily checks and calibrations
Carry out chemical analysis measurements using published work instructions
Record data collected as prescribed
Input data into appropriate databases or other records
Stock, replenish, laboratory supplies as needed
Alerts metallurgy supervision of any irregularities which may have an effect on analytical accuracy, sample throughput, and instrument operation
Carries out other procedures and assignments as required with supervision
Skills and Qualifications for the position include:
Preference given to residents of the Athabasca Basin in Saskatchewans north (RSN)
Enrolled in a Science, or related post-secondary program and returning to school in the fall of 2025
Excellent computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Strong comprehension of science and mathematics
Attention to detail
Must be dependable and able to work independently with ability to multitask effectively
Must have good communication skills
Work Location & Schedule:
McClean Lake site
14 days in and 14 days out rotating schedule
May to August 2025
Fly Day- This position will fly in and fly out on Friday
Pick-Up Points: Saskatoon, Prince Albert, La Ronge, Buffalo Narrows and the designated communities in the Athabasca region of Uranium City, Stony Rapids, Fond du Lac, and Wollaston.
