Description

The East Central Saskatchewan Association of the Brain Injured (EC SARBI) Inc. is seeking an Executive Director to fill a temporary maternity leave cover (17 month contract) commencing mid-March 2025. There will be a 2 week training period.
The position requires in-person work, Monday  Friday for an average of 27 hours per week. Some flexibility required. Responsibilities of the position include administrative duties, financial duties, grant writing, assisting with fundraising, and directing the programs of EC SARBI.
Principle Duties & Responsibilities
Financial and administrative management of the organization
Monitor day-to-day delivery of the organizations programs; supervise staff and volunteers
Facilitate communication with clients, families, caregivers and rehabilitation specialists
Promote community awareness of the organization, its programs and goals
Prepare meeting agenda, supporting materials and monthly financial statements and attend all monthly meetings of the Board of Directors
Establish sound working relationships with funders, donors, community groups, and organizations
Ensure that the guidelines and reporting requirements of the Acquired Brain Injury Partnership are met
Qualification and Experience
3 to 5 years experience in non-profit management or related field (Post-secondary education in related fields is an asset)
Proven knowledge and experience in fundraising, finances, payroll, and budget processes
Proven skills in project management, human resources, and budget management
Experience with report, grant, and proposal writing
Experience with Board collaboration, and understanding of non-profit governance
Experience with survivors of acquired brain injuries, their families and caregivers is an asset
Proven skills in Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, organizational skills and attention to detail
