Description

Boortmalt is the world's leading malting company, producing 3 million tonnes annually across 27 plants on five continents.

Position: General Labourer (Biggar, SK)
Supports maintenance and production teams with various tasks.

Responsibilities:
Operations Support: Clean plant areas, assist production, enter confined spaces under supervision.
Sanitation: Sweep, shovel, vacuum, bleach, handle waste, maintain yard and workspace cleanliness.
Safety & Communication: Attend safety meetings, follow OHS and Boortmalt regulations, uphold food and environmental safety.
Shipping & Receiving: Operate loader, load/unload trucks, package shipments.
Miscellaneous: Assist teams, handle offsite parcels, perform additional duties.

Qualifications:
-High School diploma/GED, valid driver's license.
-Located in Biggar or Biggar area
-Strong communication, time management, and teamwork skills.
-Ability to lift 25-50 lbs, climb ladders, work in varying temperatures, humidity, and dusty environments.
-Must wear PPE, including respirators, gloves, boots, and safety gear.
-Willing to work overtime, weekends, and holidays.

- Walking/Standing on indoor surfaces 100% of day per 8 hour shift
