To effectively deliver on the commitment to build and manage Saskatchewans international network, the Ministry of Trade and Export Development is recruiting a Director - International Engagement.

Reporting to the Executive Director, International Offices, the director will oversee three international offices (United Arab Emirates, Japan, Singapore) as well as a team in Saskatchewan.  The director will join the headquarters leadership team to provide support, direction and accountability within the international office network to meet trade and investment outcomes.

The director will be an excellent communicator and collaborator with experience working across ministries and with stakeholders. Typically, the knowledge and skills for the position are acquired several years of related leadership experience as well as through a masters degree in business, public administration, public policy, or economics. Equivalent education or experience in a related field will also be considered.

- International trade and investment;
- The competitive Saskatchewan business environment;
- Saskatchewans sectors of strength and areas of opportunity;
- Government structures, processes, responsibilities, operations; and
