Description

Wellen Boring & Drilling Ltd. is a local company specializing in drilling water wells.  Primarily we serve acreages, farms and agricultural related businesses. We have a reputation for superior service, trustworthiness and reliability you can count on.
The successful candidate will have experience working around machinery and be prepared to learn.  A class 3A and/or class 1A license is considered an asset.  Experience operating any type of heavy machinery (skid-steer, excavator, tractors, or other heavy machinery) considered an asset.  The candidate must be a self-starter and ready to learn the details of our business as well as, be ready to work. Long hours may be required during the weeks, however, all week-ends and stats are observed.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Class 5 Drivers License with clean abstract (Class 3A considered an asset and Class 1A is optimum)
- Experience working around heavy machinery (skid-steer, excavator, tractors, etc.) with operating experience considered an asset
- Good health and physical condition are critical to performing various duties/jobs
- Reliability and flexibility is a necessity, must be willing to work over-time hours frequently
- Safety tickets: First Aid/CPR, Construction safety, ground disturbance, etc. would be considered an asset

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive service-trucks to and from work-site
- Work as part of core boring and drilling team on-site
- Loading and un-loading materials for mobilization to and from work-sites
- Running skid-steer and operating auxiliary equipment on trucks  
- Must be excellent at taking instruction from supervisors
- Must be good with people and represent the business well
- The successful applicant must be willing to work in various conditions
