We are a Saskatchewan owned business that specializes in hydraulic cylinder manufacturing, repair, and custom machining. Our cylinders and machined products have been adapted and developed to be used in the harshest conditions within the mining, utilities, and oil & gas industries.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Machinists should be able to manage their own time as well as working with a team to efficiently to maximize productivity. A Machinist contributes to the companys overall success by ensuring deadlines are met and production runs smoothly. Some of the most common daily tasks of a Machinist include:
Interpret drawings and sketches
Take precise measurements
Plans proper sequence of tasks to complete assignment
Monitors production and adjusting as necessary
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related tasks
Calculate and determined dimensions, tapers, indices, and other data using shop formulas
Able to use precision measuring instruments
Keeps work area and equipment clean and orderly
Operate overhead cranes, forklifts, and other shop equipment
Maintain a safe and clean workstation

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Journeyman Machinist with 2-3 years experience in a machinist role.
Qualified candidate must have a Canadian Citizenship or Permanent residency; Pass a security assessment and provide a criminal record check due to military controlled Goods designation.
