Description

The teaching assignment will include Grade 10, 11, and/or 12 English Language Arts Core Curriculum  Writing, Reading, Speaking, Listening, Representing, and Viewing. English Language Arts 20 Outcomes include Comprehend and Respond, Compose and Create, and Assess and Reflect.

Experience in secondary English Language Arts curriculum, online teaching or online program supervision, and level 30 (grade 12) accreditation would be considered an asset.

At Saskatchewan Distance Learning Centre, we are committed to providing students with a quality online educational experience; an integral part of that being meaningful student and parent interactions. As an online instructor, you will work with students in an online environment and will in most cases, be the primary point of contact for our learners. We are looking to recruit teachers who seek to understand the challenges of online learning and strive to create real connections with our learners, bridging the distance between them.

Experience with technologies such as Clevr, Moodle, MySchoolSask, and online communication software would be considered an asset.
