The Riders are currently scouting for a motivated individual to assist our Communications Team!
This role is perfect for those looking to gain unique experience in the Sports & Entertainment Industry, specifically in communications and media relations.
Reporting to the Director, Communications, the Communications Intern will assist with all Club business and football operations related communications activities including written press releases, player biographies, stats and game notes for the media for all Rider games; co-ordinate game day activities including press box and broadcaster needs and post-game interviews; and prepare coaches/player for interviews and appearances with the media including on practice days and in the community. The position will assist writing copy for all team publications and the Riderville website and helps manage relationships with media partners that provide a series of regular promotional programs providing coverage to team events during the football season.
