What can you bring to us?
A diploma from a recognized Electrical Engineering Technology program.
3-5 years of field experience
Experience with drafting
Experience with testing equipment (Omicron, Doble, etc.) & relay testing with various equipment (SEL, GE, Siemens, ABB, etc.)
Experience in substations
Ability to understand & perform technically complex calculations
Strong knowledge of drawings (wiring, schematic, & layout)
Valid Drivers Licence
Able to travel & remain at project sites as required
Must be legally entitled to work in Canada

Typical responsibilities would include:
Performing maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, & repair of low, medium & high voltage equipment in a safe & efficient manner
Commissioning & start-up of low, medium, & high voltage equipment & apparatus associated with an electrical power system
Acting as liaison with subcontractors & clients, develop customer service relationships
Supervising/leading projects to ensure successful project execution according to company & client standards
Providing mentorship to junior technologists & support to team members
Completing & submitting technical reports & test sheets
