Position Overview:
Hatchet Lake Lodge is seeking a hardworking and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Dock Hand. This hands-on role is essential to ensuring our guests have a seamless and enjoyable experience during their stay. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, dependable, and eager to contribute to the overall operations of the lodge.
Duties & Responsibilities:
1.    Start and maintain early morning fires in guest cabins to provide warmth and comfort.
2.    Monitor and maintain an adequate supply of firewood for daily operations.
3.    Rotation of early delivery of coffee to guest cabins.
4.    Load and unload fishing gear for guests from boats and the float plane.
5.    Assist guests by carrying tackle and equipment to and from cabins and the dock.
6.    Maintain cleanliness in boats, dock areas, and the mechanic shop.
7.    Offload supplies and groceries from the plane and deliver them to designated areas.
8.    Monitor and maintain fuel levels, including mobile fuel tanks for float planes and boat jerry cans.
9.    Assist in maintaining essential lodge systems, including water, septic, and electrical systems.
10.    Interact with guests in a warm, approachable manner to ensure their needs are met.
11.    Provide support across general lodge operations wherever needed.
