Description

Sherwood Co-op requires a Full Time Petroleum Manager
DUTIES:
Maintain and initiate direct sales to farm and commercial accounts as it pertains to petroleum, lubricants and DEF.
Responsible for proactively directing and dispatching the daily work schedules of Driver Sales Representatives to effectively and efficiently meet customer delivery needs.
Prospect and support independent retailer opportunities such as TEMPO and unbranded sites for the Co-op Retailing System.
Responsible for the co-ordination of transport of product to customers ensuring deadlines are met.
Analyze the trade area through routing and mapping to ensure the productivity and efficiency of Sherwood Co-ops Fuel Delivery fleet.
Promote adherence to all relevant Regulatory & Safety requirements, both legislated and internal standards ensuring spill and emergency training is provided for and followed through in event of a spill and emergency.
Ensure all employees are properly trained and licensed prior to commencing driving activities.
Responsible for overseeing the planned maintenance, trouble shooting, inspections, repairs and overhauls of the Fuel Delivery Fleet in conjunctions with Driver Sales Representatives.  Responsible to see that documentation and reporting of all maintenance, repairs, overhauls, adjustments and inspections are accurate and retained.
QUALIFICATIONS:
You have a large knowledge base of the various products sold within the petroleum department.
You have 3 - 5 years management experience with a petroleum background being an asset.
