Core Responsibilities

Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities and learning experiences that promote children's development across all domains
Create and maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming classroom environment
Observe and document children's progress and development using established assessment tools
Communicate regularly with parents/guardians about their child's development, daily activities, and any concerns
Develop and follow daily schedules that balance active/quiet times and indoor/outdoor activities
Guide children's behavior using positive discipline techniques and established classroom management strategies
Maintain accurate records of attendance, incidents, and daily activities
Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure program quality and consistency
Prepare materials and set up activities before children arrive
Follow all health and safety protocols, including proper sanitization procedures
