ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain and execute the required scheduled maintenance activities for all on-site equipment
Utilizes safe work practices and promote risk management processes
Utilize predictive, preventative and reactive maintenance programs
Assist millwright and contractors in maintenance activities
Participate in effectively coordinating required facility or equipment downtime to minimize business interruptions
Complete assigned work orders
Provide input to management to ensure reliable and cost-effective alternatives are explored and evaluated.
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and standardization on processes
Safe use of equipment including forklift, skid steer loader, aerial lifts, mobile equipment and power tools
Monitor, sort, store, and upkeep spare parts inventory
Assist in the process of purchasing maintenance related items as approved by Management
Maintain a clean and worker friendly shop environment
Promote a safe and engaged workforce through reliability
Other duties as required for the success of the site
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
Unwavering safety mindset and commitment to managing risk
Maintenance experience
Motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
Pleasant demeanor with an ability to handle multiple time-sensitive tasks while working within a team environment
Strong work ethic
REQUIREMENTS
Valid class 5 drivers license
Ability to work occasional overtime and weekends
Able to climb stairs and ladders on a daily basis
Able to work at heights of 100 feet or more
