Description

Perform daily operations of the facility safely, efficiently and profitably
Perform facility operations such as receiving and shipping of seed, fertilizer and chemical
Ensure proper handling and storage of seed and crop inputs products
Perform basic maintenance and operator care of equipment
Maintain inventory records, perform counts and investigate discrepancies
Provide excellent customer service and engage with team members
Coordinate operations, support sales and customer service activities
Administrate transactions for shipping, receiving and customer payments
Collaborate with the Sales and Agronomy team to execute on customer sales and product forecasting
Portray a professional image, both personally and throughout the location
Liaison with internal and external supplier contacts
Maintain a safe and clean work environment
Understand and adhere to all safety rules and regulations
Lead safety related activities for the facility: safety training, maintain regulatory and compliance requirements
Conduct regular site inspections, hold monthly safety meetings with staff to review procedures and safety awareness issues
Other duties as assigned under the direction of the Retail Manager and Plant Manger
