Summary:
The Grain Buyer is responsible for the procurement of grain, including peas, lentils and canary seed, for Harvest Grain Zealandia Ltd. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of grain markets, grain quality, and grain handling. The Grain Buyer will also be responsible for negotiating contracts with growers and managing deliveries as per sales program.

Responsibilities:
Procure grain to meet the needs of Harvest Grain Zealandia's customers
Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with growers
Manage relationships with grain farmers
Monitor grain markets and grain quality
Stay up-to-date on grain industry trends and regulations
Comply with all relevant laws and regulations
Maintain accurate records of all grain transactions

Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in grain procurement
Strong understanding of grain markets, grain quality, and grain handling
Excellent negotiation skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Proven ability to meet deadlines and deliver results
