Job Summary:
Victoria Square Entertainment Centre Ltd., which operates VicSquare MiniGolf and VicSquare Fun Park, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations Manager to lead and supervise our facilitys daily operations. The ideal candidate will ensure a safe, engaging, and enjoyable experience for all visitors, while managing staff, events, promotions, and customer satisfaction.
Operations & Policy Development:
Work with stakeholders to draft policies and rules for the playground area.
Develop and implement a comprehensive operations manual to standardize procedures across the company.
Plan, direct, control, and evaluate the day-to-day operations of the facility.
Staff Supervision & Training:
Directly supervise, mentor, and coach staff members.
Schedule staff shifts to ensure smooth operation during peak and off-peak hours.
Train staff on policies, procedures, and safety protocols, ensuring proper equipment usage and customer service excellence.
Event & Promotion Coordination:
Collaborate with the Marketing Team to create and execute opening promotions and marketing strategies for social media and other channels.
Plan and organize in-house events, birthday parties, and team-building activities to attract and retain customers.
Customer Service:
Maintain a high level of customer service, addressing customer concerns, feedback, and inquiries promptly.
Ensure a positive, fun, and safe environment for all guests.
Financial & Budget Management:
Qualifications:
Proven experience in a service-oriented industry, ideally in entertainment, recreation, or hospitality management.
Experience in staff supervision, event organization, and hands-on promotions.
Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer service mindset.
Ability to work collaboratively with marketing and other internal teams.
Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to playground
