We are looking for a Senior Developer - GIS to help grow our business and contribute to our future.  

In this position, you will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining software applications using geospatial data and technologies, in support of a large-scale transformation program.  The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of GIS technologies, development, and spatial data analysis.

Typical responsibilities include:
- Leading the design, development, and maintenance of GIS applications.
- Developing custom GIS solutions and tools to meet project requirements.
- Integrating and managing geospatial data from various sources and formats.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to deliver high-quality technical solutions.
- Ensuring the scalability, performance, and security of GIS applications.
- Other similar responsibilities.

What youll need:
- A bachelors degree in computer science, Geospatial Science or related technical Diploma, with five (5) or more years software development / engineering related experience.
- Proven experience in developing GIS applications.
- Strong Knowledge in one or more of the following core languages: .NET languages such as C# or ASP.NET Core, Angular, JAVA, VB6.
- Strong Knowledge of writing and analyzing database queries in MS SQL and MySQL.
- Strong Knowledge of code repositories such as GIT, TFS, and Azure DevOps.
- Strong Knowledge of front-end web languages such as CSS and JavaScript.
- Strong knowledge of user interfaces and user experience design.
