Description

The suitable candidate will be able to perform the following duties:
Supervise Early Childhood Program Staff.
Review and verify staff Timesheets
Staff scheduling, support and on-call staff coordination
Assist staff in planning and implementing activities to meet the physical, emotional, intellectual, and social needs of the children in the program;
Ensure equipment and facility are clean, well maintained and safe at all times;
Assist with the developing daily, monthly, yearly plans
Ensure staff follows personnel policy manual, and program policies and guidelines;
Assisting the Early Childhood Program Manager with administrative duties and responsibilities;
Develop and maintain current, accurate, and confidential client files;
Develop monthly, and yearly statistics about number of participants, costs of equipment, supplies and maintenance;
Ensure that the Early Childhood Education Program meets health, safety and licensing regulations;
Attend and participate in workshops, meetings, seminars, and conferences when requested by the Early Childhood Program Manager;
Carry out any other work-related duties, when requested by Early Childhood Program Manager;
The suitable candidate will possess the following qualifications:
Must have a minimum of Level 3 Early Childhood Education Diploma, or equivalent
2 years experience in managing Early Learning Centers
Experience in developing programs for the center an asset
First Aid, CPR, Safe Food Handlers Certification an asset
Ability to communicate and build positive relationships with personnel, parents, and children;
Patient, caring, loving, compassionate, and enjoys working with children
Strong computer and technology skills
Strong organizational skills
Must have Valid Drivers license
Must be able to provide an satisfactory criminal record and vulnerable sector check, and Drivers Abstract is required upon hire
A combination of education with experience may be considered
