Description

Operating, inspecting and maintaining the main cage and skip conveyance
Preparing equipment and materials to be moved to and from the underground using slings and rigging
Operating equipment such as JCB loader and skid steer loader
Working with diverse workforce (Cameco employees, contractors and trade personnel)
Fulfil all duties as detailed in the mines regulations mine shaft 1 operator training requirements

Requirements of the position:
- Minimum grade 12 education or equivalent
- Five years of applicable underground mining experience
- Must successfully pass the crane and rigging course
- Rotating day/night shift schedule
- Able to work at heights using fall arrest
- Willing to work in confined spaces
- Must be able to obtain the Saskatchewan certification for handling and transportation of explosives
- Work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft
