The Town of Nipawin is now hiring a Semi-Skilled Fulltime Public Works Labourer for our Landfill Location

As the Public Works Landfill Labourer you will:
Operate heavy equipment such as compactors & loaders, adhere to all safety protocols such as wearing the appropriate PPE, be responsible for site maintenance, keep accurate records, provide excellent customer service, taking appropriate training as required, be prepared to respond to emergencies such as fires & spills, work outside in various weather conditions as well as other duties assigned by the Supervisor.
Experience with a variety of equipment and tools used in a municipal landfill department is considered an asset.  

The Successful Applicant must have a current Class 5 Drivers License and provide a Police Records Check and Driver's Abstract prior to commencement of employment.


Wearing "CSA Approved" footwear at all times is a condition of employment and will be the responsibility of the employee to purchase.

Wages and benefits will be paid according to the CUPE Local 777-01 Agreement.
