Description

- Lead the analysis and interpretation of existing and new climate, sustainability and/or environmental, social and governance (ESG) voluntary and regulatory reporting requirements and compile insights on potential organizational impacts to develop recommendations for Cameco
- Coordinate the collection and reporting of Camecos annual sustainability/ESG and climate action data
- Analyze and interpret collected data to identify opportunities to continuously improve performance as well as provide internal and external reporting based on trends and changing standards
- Support the collection and reporting of sustainability and climate information as requested by external stakeholders
- Support the development of materials and processes to effectively organize and communicate Camecos climate and sustainability action information to internal and external audiences
- Participate in climate-related physical risk management and adaptation assessments, organizational engagement activities, energy/emissions management assessments and initiatives at industrial operations

Required:
- Bachelors degree in relevant environmental, applied science, policy or engineering field
- A minimum of five to eight years of relevant experience, with preference towards sustainability, climate change, nature, biodiversity, policy/regulation or ESG reporting experience
- Strong communication, collaboration, project management and data analytics skills

Recommended:
- Previous experience in the mining or nuclear industry
- Applicable professional designation, certification or certification in-progress
- Familiarity with Canadian and Saskatchewan regulations governing sustainability and climate action
- Knowledge of globally recognized sustainability and climate-related disclosure and reporting requirements, such as the International Sustainability Standards Board, Canadian Sustainability Standards Board, Taskforce for Climate-related Financial Disclosures
