Description

Position Summary:
- Participates in the development and implementation of specific HR projects aligned with FY2026 strategic tactics and operational goals.This may include projects such as: Supporting various aspects of work related to the Out-of-Scopejob evaluation system (e.g. facilitating and supporting supervisors in the review of job ratings for specific positions, updating job descriptions, and revising/enhancing the rating tool), and supporting research, information gathering, and analysis to support the Collective Bargaining process
- Assists in the provision of front line administrative support for employee inquiries.
- Assists with the administration, development, and revision of Human Resource policies, procedures, and forms.
- Assists with the preparation of a variety of confidential documents, reports and correspondence within a variety of software programs; demonstrates tact and diplomacy when handling sensitive information.

Qualifications:
- Upper year Commerce student, majoring in Human Resources Management.
- Familiarity with computer applications, specifically the Microsoft 365 and Office Suite.
- Aptitude for data gathering, compiling results, and preparing summaries in various formats such as tables, charts, briefing documents, and one-pagers.
- Strong organizational skills with an affinity for being detail-oriented
- Exceptional interpersonal and written communication skills are required.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships within the organization.
- Ability to use discretion and maintain confidentiality relating to sensitive employee information.
