The Town is seeking an enthusiastic individual to perform the duties of a permanent, full-time, utilities operator within the public works department. Reporting to the Utilities Lead Hand, this position will be responsible for the troubleshooting, maintaining and repairing the Town water distribution, wastewater treatment and wastewater collection systems, as well as recording, collecting, sampling and testing all activities associated with water distribution, wastewater collection and treatment.  As a condition of employment, the individual is expected to work year-round in a variety of weather conditions, and willing to work evenings and weekends.
Qualifications for the position include: grade 12 education or equivalent, and physically aptitude and able to lift up to 50 pounds. A valid Saskatchewan class 5 drivers license is required, with airbrake endorsement an asset. Preference may be given to candidates with Class 1 or 2 certification in water distribution, wastewater collection and wastewater treatment.
