Description

The Yellow Thunderbird Lodge  Yorkton Tribal Council Inc. (YTL-YTCCFS Inc) is seeking to fill the position of Intake Manager.

Reporting to the Director of Protection Services, the Intake Manager is responsible for management of the Intake Programs and the leadership of Intake supervisory staff. This position oversees the Intake unit which processes reports that meet the Prevention criteria for services and responds to Protection reports of abuse and neglect. The Intake Manager will provide guidance, support, training to the Intake Supervisor, oversight of Children in Care Services; Family Support Services, as it relates to Prevention and Protection services as outlined in the Yellow Thunderbird Lodge-YTCCFS Inc. Service Delivery Model.

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Social Work (BSW or BISW).
Knowledge of the FSIN Child Welfare and Family Support Act and the Provincial Child and Family Services Act. The ISC Child in Care Policy Saskatchewan Region Manual, the Structured Decision-Making System (SDM), the Provincial Child Abuse Protocol, the Case Transfer Protocol, Placement of Care Protocol, and Bill C-92.
Ability to apply and interpret provincial/federal legislation and funding agreements for children in care.
Ability to provide leadership through encouragement, collaboration and the promotion of healthy, positive working relationships with the objective of achieving individual/familys team and organizational goals.
Experience in front-line service delivery of First Nation Child and Family Services.
Working experience in Child Welfare Frontline Case Management systems and procedures.
Strong commitment to helping First Nations children and their families by providing services in ways that respects First nations cultural and spiritual practices.
Commitment to providing service in the context of extended family and community involvement.

Must sign an Oath of Confidentiality and a non disclosure agreement.
Must have a valid Drivers license.
