Description

The Rural Municipality of Loreburn #254 invites applications for the position of Seasonal Operator.  The Rural Municipality of Loreburn No. 254 is in central Saskatchewan with the shop being located in the Village of Loreburn.  

Duties may include, but not limited to road grading, mowing, gravel hauling, service and maintenance of equipment, shop work, installing culverts and signs, and other general maintenance duties as required by council and foreman. The position will begin approximately April 1, 2025, weather permitting.

Eligible applicants will have a valid driver license, basic mechanical aptitude, and be able to keep detailed time sheets, logbook's (maps) and machine sheets as requests. The applicant will be able to work alone under supervision and take direction from foreman, establish effective working relationships with council, staff, ratepayers and contractors. Preference will be given to candidates with experience operating heavy equipment.

Salary will be negotiable depending on experience; as well the RM offers excellent health and dental benefits, short and long term disability and a pension plan.
