Description

The SPSA is hiring for one (1) Permanent Full Time position of an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer 2, in the Air Operations branch, located in La Ronge, SK.  

This position will be responsible for an assigned aircraft program for aircraft operated by SPSA including CL-215T's, CV 580A's, Twin Commanders and DHC Dash8-400 Series.  

As an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer 2, you will be responsible for supervising and assigning work to Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Is to ensure maintenance is completed within required timeframe. You will be performing periodic inspections on airframes, engines and systems on a fleet of 17 firefighting aircraft including CL-215T's, CV 580A's, Twin Commanders and DHC Dash8-400 Series.  


To qualify for this position, you will possess the following:
- An Aircraft Maintenance Engineer M1 and/or M2 License.  An E or S License would be considered an asset.
- Applicant must be type endorsed on SPSA aircraft.  Applicants with a DHC Dash8-400 Series endorsement would be considered an asset.
- At least 3 years in a supervisory role.

A Criminal Record Check is required as a condition of employment. The successful candidate must possess a Class 5 Saskatchewan Drivers License or equivalent.
