The Social Media Specialist & Communications Specialist manages Avana's digital presence and internal/external communications to ensure alignment with the company's mission and goals. This role is responsible for creating engaging content across social media and digital channels, fostering resident engagement, promoting community initiatives, and supporting marketing campaigns. Additionally, the role ensures clear and consistent messaging for residents, employees, and external audiences while reinforcing Avana's identity as a trusted, community-focused organization.
The candidate must have:
- Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, public relations, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience in social media management, corporate communications, digital marketing, or public relations.
- Be legally eligible to work in Canada (i.e. Permanent Resident status or Canadian Citizenship).
