KPCL is seeking experienced Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanics to join our maintenance team in operations throughout Saskatchewan. In this role, you will work with on-site equipment and maintenance staff, alongside the project leadership team to achieve maximum machine uptime.
As a Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic, you will be crucial in maintaining a safe and productive job site by performing maintenance and repairs on a wide range of earth-moving equipment.
What You Bring
Minimum of 3 years post-Journeyperson experience or Red Seal Accreditation, prior experience in a related discipline such as servicing, fuel/ lube technician may be considered
Proficiency in working with large haul trucks, dozers, graders, excavators, and scrapers; previous experience with heavy trucks and trailers (safety certification for trailers is an asset)
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills, experience with CAT SIS is an asset
Proficient in reading electrical and hydraulic schematics
Ability to work with minimal supervision while demonstrating professional work behaviors
Commitment to continuous learning and skill development
Basic knowledge of computer applications, including Microsoft Office 365
Enjoyment of fieldwork, with the ability to improvise and adapt to the evolving needs of the project location
