Duties and Responsibilities:
Support the Director of Well-Being in the design and amendment of program policies that meet legislative, strategic and community requirements
Promote family and spiritual harmony by prioritizing family support and intervention
Maintaining responsive action to ensure that programs are meeting the needs of children and families in Muskoday
Assist in the planning of prevention programs with associated reporting, measurable, and budgets that demonstrate an understanding of agreements and funding mechanisms
Support and supervise the organizational team as required by Director of Well-Being, by coaching, mentoring, and evaluating performance
Ensure program service delivery within standards of quality, safety, and budget
Assist Director of Well-Being in the development and communication of effective training and learning for the operational team
Follow and adhere to schedule of program deliverables, milestones, and required activities
Ensure prevention, intervention and protection services meet best practice and legal requirements for service delivery and documentation
Reporting to Director of Well-Being on matters pertaining to operational effectiveness of staff, in order to promote continuous improvement
Working within a team structure to support organizational change management activities that may be integrated into Director of Well-Being project planning process
Perform other related duties as set by Director of Well-Being, while protecting confidentiality of staff, clients, and community members involved in programming
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Social Work, Social Science, or any other related degree program
Strong understanding of indigenous children and families, including developmental needs, identifying vulnerabilities and risks, and providing solutions to support families.
Experience working with culturally appropriate service models for First Nations People
Must hold and maintain a valid Saskatchewan?s Driver?s License
