Beardys & Okemasis Cree Nation (BOCN) is located 5 kilometers west of Duck Lake, Saskatchewan. BOCN is in Phase 1 of the search for unmarked graves at the St. Michaels Residential School site located just south of the Town of Duck Lake. BOCN requires a Special Project Search Coordinator to work and meet with the Chief & Council, Elders, and the Community; the position will coordinate all search activities, work with researchers, and ensure work plans are completed within the timeframe and budget.  Community engagement, knowledge gathering, research, and interviewing will be a significant part of the position. The candidate will ensure all work is done appropriately based on BOCN cultural protocols and values, along with all policies and procedures concerning this project.
