Description

Brodsky Construction is seeking an experienced Earthwork Foreman to lead our crews on earthmoving and infrastructure projects. Wage will depend on experience.

Responsibilities include:
-Conduct daily safety meetings and enforce safety standards.
-Direct crews to maximize efficiency and deliver high-quality work.
-Perform and oversee staking to ensure design grades are accurately and efficiently achieved.
-Ensure all work meets design specifications and project requirements.
-Oversee and participate in the installation of culverts, water and sewer pipe, man holes, and valves.
-Collaborate with engineers, inspectors, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and maintain project progress.

Requirements:
-Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in earthmoving projects.
-Proficiency with staking and with survey equipment
-Strong ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and construction stakes.
-Strong organizational and leadership skills
-Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
-Willingness to travel and work extended hours, including weekends and holidays.

Preferred:
-Safety certifications (e.g. First Aid, TDG)
-Experience with geosynthetics and water/sewer installations.

Job Type:
-Full-time, Permanent

Pay:
$35.00-$45.00 per hour

Expected hours:
60 per week
