Description

Regina Early Learning Center is looking for a KidsFirst Assistant Supervisor to join our team. Under the direction and supervision of the KidsFirst Supervisor, the KidsFirst Assistant Supervisor, will manage an assigned caseload of families, provide: mentorship and support to KidsFirst Home Visitors, and assist the KidsFirst Supervisor in program delivery.  

Qualifications:
Post-secondary education such as Early Childhood Development, Educational Assistant, Youth Worker, or equivalent would be an asset.
3 years experience in the human service field providing support services to families with a home visiting program or equivalent would be an asset.
Previous experience in a supervisory role required.
A combination of relevant education/experience would be considered.
Possess a current and valid drivers license and a reliable vehicle.
Satisfactory criminal record and vulnerable persons check.

Skills and Abilities:
Passion for working with children and families in community programs.
Knowledge of community resources supporting healthy parenting.
Ability to follow a curriculum and lead group learning activities.
Strong understanding of Attachment Theory.
Skilled in building positive relationships with children, families, colleagues, and stakeholders.
Experience in supervising, mentoring staff, and collaborating in a team environment.
Commitment to confidentiality and professional boundaries.
Effective written and verbal communication.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and database systems.
Strong organizational and administrative abilities.
Flexibility to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
