The YMCA of Regina is an Imagine Canada accredited non-profit charity that is open to all, dedicated to building strong kids, strong families and strong communities. As the premiere values-based builder of health, leadership and personal development in the city of Regina, we focus our program delivery on our three pillars of service: health and fitness, community development, and childcare.

The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will lead the daily operations of a vibrant charitable organization that provides essential services to the community, including childcare, community programs, a health, fitness, and aquatics (HFA) facility, and facilities management. The COO will ensure that all services are delivered efficiently, effectively, and align with the organizations mission, vision, and values. This role demands a strategic and operational leader with strong management expertise and a passion for community service.

The COO will oversee childcare, community programs, HFA, and facilities to enhance efficiency and service quality. They will collaborate with the CEO and Board to execute strategic plans and foster growth, sustainability, and innovation. Financial responsibilities include budget management and identifying cost-saving opportunities.

This role involves managing and mentoring a team of General Managers, ensuring staff development, and promoting an inclusive workplace. The COO will guide the development of programs that align with community needs, ensure compliance with safety and legal standards, and oversee risk management strategies.

Property management duties include long-term maintenance planning, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring timely facility improvements. The COO will report regularly to the CEO and Board and maintain transparent communication with all stakeholders.
