Description

RJC High School is inviting applications for a full-time teaching position beginning in the 2025/2026 school year.

The ideal candidate will teach from a whole student perspective and be actively engaged in school and community programming. We invite interest from teachers from all teaching areas.

About RJC
RJC is a grades 9-12 high school with a dormitory in Rosthern, Saskatchewan. We are members of the Saskatchewan Association of Historical Schools, teach the Saskatchewan curriculum and our teachers are associate members of the Saskatchewan Teachers Federation (STF).

Job Requirements
An ideal candidate will have:
- Education and experience teaching Gr. 9-12 students.
- Enthusiasm for RJCs mission and vision.
- Willingness to work within a collaborative teaching environment.
- Strong interest and capacities in school co-curricular activities.  
- A Bachelor of Education degree, along with a valid Saskatchewan Teaching Certificate.  

Job Duties
As a member of RJCs teaching staff, you will be expected to:
- Teach curricular classes (to be determined based on the candidate's background and interest, as well as student and school needs).
- Provide leadership organizing and implementing learning experiences that connect curricular goals with the schools mission, vision and community partnerships. This includes involvement with programs such as our Grade Based Initiatives (GROW, IMAGINE, THRIVE and EXPLORE), and the Alternative Learning and Service Opportunities (ALSO) Program.
- Work alongside colleagues and RJCs administrative team to provide universal strategies for student care in our school and dormitory community.
- Contribute in meaningful ways to RJCs community programming (attention will be given to the candidates background and interest)
- Participate In regular meetings and events to assist in planning RJCs educational and community programming.
