Description

The coordinator will work to support Montreal Lake Cree Nation to carry out the goals and objectives provided by the Bill C-92 Working Group, Chief and Council, Community Elders and Community Members in relation to the possible creation, design, development and establishment of a Montreal Lake Cree Nation Child and Family Law, Regulations and Acts.  The coordinator will effectively increase the understanding of Council and the memberships regarding Bill C-92 and the impacts and implications of the Act to help determine if MLCN will enter into an agreement or consider other arrangements that better respect our unique history, culture, language, traditions and laws and better serve our children and families.
