Position Overview:
The Prince Albert Police Service is seeking motivated, community-focused individuals to join our team as Constables. This position offers an opportunity to serve and protect while fostering trust and collaboration with the diverse community we proudly serve.
Key Responsibilities:
Enforce federal, provincial, and municipal laws while promoting community safety.
Respond to emergencies, investigate incidents, and provide a visible police presence.
Build relationships with community members and engage in problem-solving initiatives.
Prepare detailed reports, collect evidence, and testify in court as required.
Collaborate with team members and external stakeholders to ensure public safety and uphold the law.
Desired Qualifications Include:
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Canadian citizenship or permanent resident status.
High school diploma or equivalent (post-secondary education is an asset).
Possess a valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Physically fit and able to meet the physical demands of the position.
Ability to work in high-pressure situations and adapt to change.
