Valid 1A License with experience. State experience operating backhoes, excavators, loaders & end dumps.Experience maintaining rural gravel roads; installing culverts. Mechanical experience/training certificates. Self-motivated with strong work ethic, work long hours with high physical demand, perform duties assigned by Foreman. Construction season hrs.start 6AM/Saturdays. Good organizational, communication, record keeping skills. Have steel-toe safety boots(Other PPE supplied). First Aid, ground disturbance, PME operator/WHMIS certificates an asset. Be legally able to work in Canada. JOB DUTIES: Report to foreman daily & accept instructions. Summer road maint; Winter snowplowing, gravel hauling, spreading, stockpiling, haul clay/rock. Minor equip. repairs, daily safety checks, diagnose defects in equip., maintain equip. logs, assist minor bridge repairs, culvert & sign installation, demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations. Work as team player. RM will offer competitive wage based on previous work experience. Start date to be determined but no later than April 28, 2025.
