Description

Christ the Teacher Catholic Schools invites applications for the position of School Counsellor with the Division.  This is a part-time (60%) temporary position with duties commencing March 12, 2025, to June 27, 2025.

The successful candidate will possess the following:

    Bachelor of Social Work (B.S.W) degree.
    Comprehensive knowledge of counselling strategies and skills for working with children and their families in the school setting.
    Excellent team building skills.
    Excellent oral and written communication skills.
    Ability to work under occasional stress.
    Availability to work after hours during emergencies.
    Valid drivers license and ability to provide own transportation to travel to schools.
    Prior experience in school counselling is preferred.
