Activationist (Health Care Support Services) : NOC 33109
The successful candidate will directly assist Physicians in high-quality healthcare delivery to our patients.  Strong background desired in : patient care at clinical healthcare settings eg. medical clinic / hospitals / ICU facilities.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES & REQUIREMENTS

Function as Chaperon during clinical exam/procedure.
Assist physicians by providing required information to patients / families.  
Check, calibrate, monitor, record, sterilize clinical equipment / instruments as directed.     Order, organize and maintain medical/clinical supplies.   Handle contaminated scopes/ instruments by transporting them for disposing,  washing, sanitizing, sterilization, autoclaving, dismantling, reassembling.  Pack and maintain reusable scopes, instruments after autoclave and quality control check. Operate, service, maintain autoclave periodically.  Order sterilized instruments in procedure room. Disinfect the procedure rooms.  Handle specimens for lab testing.  Transport patients in wheelchairs or stretchers.  Prepare patients for minor procedures by washing, shaving and sterilizing operative areas (experience desired).  Function as a communication facilitator between physicians and patients / families (candidates fluent in English, Hindi and Malayalam will be preferred for the job).

Previous experience (6 months & above) in related health care field eg. hospitals / ICU / clinics, etc. Preference given to candidates with experience in assisting physicians in clinical / medical procedures. Basic knowledge : medical coding, abbreviations, terminology, disinfection procedures, bio-hazard disposal procedure, computer skills (word), autoclaving are must.

Qualification : Grade 12 or higher complete. CPR FIrst Aid / AED certified.
