Job Description: The EMT will respond to calls for service as per dispatch instructions, providing assessment, treatment and transportation of ill or injured persons. The EMT will cover standby assignment, as operations require.

Education
- Primary Care Paramedic diploma (PCP)
Licenses
- Valid Class 4 driver's license
- Registered Paramedic (2011 National Occupational Competency Profile standards)
- Health Care Provider Level C Certificate (HCP-C)
- Basic Life Support Instructor Certificate (BLS)
- International Trauma Life Support Certificate (ITLS)

- Registered/eligible with the Saskatchewan College of Paramedics at PCP/EMT level
- Employer will endeavour to ensure on-call does not exceed 300 hours in 3 weeks
- Preference to HSAS members as per the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement
