Description

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Atoskewin Business Development Corporation will serve as the senior leader responsible for driving the organizations business strategy, operational excellence, and economic growth. As the primary executive under the direction of the Board of Directors, the CEO will lead Atoskewin BDC in advancing the corporate business interests of the Ochapowace Nation. The successful candidate will oversee the development, management, and execution of strategies that enhance current business enterprises, ventures under development, and future opportunities.

Key Responsibilities;

Strategic Leadership
- Develop and implement a comprehensive business strategy that aligns with Atoskewin BDCs vision, mission, and the economic interests of the Ochapowace Nation.

Operational Oversight
- Oversee the management of current business enterprises and ventures under development, ensuring operational efficiency and profitability.

Team Leadership
- Provide visionary and motivational leadership to the management team and staff.

Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Admin, Econ, Finance or relevant. Master's degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in business development.
- Proven experience working with Indigenous communities, organizations or development corporations
- Knowledge of First Nations governance structures and Indigenous services

- Results-driven and adaptable, with the ability to navigate complex environments.
- High degree of emotional intelligence and interpersonal sensitivity.
